§ 23-137. Institutions receiving money allotted to Commonwealth under act ofCongress.

The Comptroller shall receive from the Secretary of the Interior of theUnited States such sums of money as shall be allotted to Virginia under andin accordance with the act of Congress approved August 30, 1890, and shallpay over the same as follows: one-third to the treasurer of the VirginiaState University, and two-thirds to the treasurer of the Virginia PolytechnicInstitute and State University, who shall receive and disburse the same asrequired by section two of the act of Congress aforesaid.
