§ 23-221. Adherence to policies of State Council of Higher Education;extension programs.

The State Board shall adhere to the policies of the State Council of HigherEducation for the coordination of higher education as required by law.

In any area served by a comprehensive community college, no institution ofhigher learning which conducts extension programs shall, after July 1, 1966,offer courses of study similar to those offered by a comprehensive communitycollege, except as authorized by the State Council of Higher Education.Whenever practicable, the State Board shall provide facilities to suchinstitutions of higher learning for conducting extension programs not inconflict with the provisions of this chapter.
