§ 23-229. Cooperation with federal agencies; federal grants-in-aid generally.

(a) Subject to the direction of the Board, the Chancellor shall cooperatewith agencies of the United States in relation to matters set forth in thischapter, and in any reasonable manner that may be necessary for theCommonwealth to qualify for and to receive grants or aid from such federalagencies.

(b) Nothing in this chapter shall preclude any other agency, board or officerof the Commonwealth from being designated as the directing or allocatingagency, board or officer for the distribution of federal grants-in-aid or theperformance of other duties to the extent necessary to qualify for and toreceive grants-in-aid for programs and institutions under the administrationof the State Board for Community Colleges.
