§ 23-231.1. Community College Week.

The General Assembly finds that the community colleges in Virginia providethe general public with quality educational services which contribute tomaintaining a knowledgeable and skilled citizenry. In recognition of theseservices, the fourth week in January of every year beginning in 1986 shall bedeclared "Community College Week." The State Board for Community Collegesmay approve such activities in observance of this week as it deemsappropriate.
