§ 23-261. Council responsible for federal programs.

The State Council of Higher Education of Virginia shall have full authorityto prepare plans, administer federal programs, and receive and disburse anyfederal funds in accordance with the responsibilities assigned to it byfederal statutes or regulations. It shall also undertake such other duties asmay be additionally assigned to it by the Governor in response to agencydesignations requested by the federal government.
