§ 23-299.5. Review of college partnership laboratory school applications.

A. The Board of Education shall establish procedures for receiving,reviewing, and ruling upon applications and shall make a copy of any suchprocedures available to all interested parties upon request. If the Boardfinds the application is incomplete, the Board shall request the necessaryinformation from the applicant. The Board of Education's review proceduresshall establish a review committee that may include experts with theoperation of similar schools located in other states.

B. To provide appropriate opportunity for input from parents, teachers, andother interested parties and to obtain information to assist the Board ofEducation in its evaluation of a college partnership laboratory schoolapplication, the Board of Education may establish a procedure for publicnotice, comment, or hearings on such applications.
