§ 23-38.10. Soil scientist scholarships; disposition of funds repaid.

All funds repaid by any applicant in pursuance of the provisions of §23-38.9, or otherwise, shall be paid into the state treasury and shall becomea part of the general fund. The governing board of the school attended by theapplicant shall collect such payments and shall pay all moneys so receivedinto the state treasury promptly. If any applicant fails to abide by theterms of such contract, such fact shall be communicated to the AttorneyGeneral by the proper officer of the school or by the employing state agency,respectively. The Attorney General shall take such action thereon as he deemsproper.

There is hereby appropriated to Virginia Polytechnic Institute and StateUniversity from the general fund of the state treasury the sum of $8,000 eachyear of the biennium for carrying out the purpose of §§ 23-38.3 to 23-38.10.
