§ 23-67. Payment of interest on debt of University; sinking fund.

Out of the appropriation made by the General Assembly for the support of theUniversity of Virginia, there shall be first set apart, annually, a sumsufficient to pay the interest accruing on the existing interest-bearing debtof the University, except as provided in § 23-21, and to constitute a sinkingfund for the liquidation of the principal of the same; and such sum shall beapplied to no other purpose or object whatever.
