§ 24.2-440. Eligibility for temporary registration by absentee application.

Any person who is entitled to register to vote in federal elections under theUniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (42 U.S.C. § 1973ff etseq.) and is not eligible for permanent voter registration pursuant toArticle 4 of this chapter, shall be eligible for temporary registration underthis article to vote in any federal election. Federal elections include anygeneral, special, or primary election for President, Vice President,presidential electors, or a member of the United States Senate or House ofRepresentatives.
