§ 24.2-626.1. Acquisition and use of accessible voting devices.

The governing body of any county or city shall provide for the use of avoting or counting system in all elections that shall:

1. Provide for at least one voting system equipped for individuals withdisabilities at each polling place, including nonvisual accessibility for theblind and visually impaired, in a manner that provides the same opportunityfor access and participation (including privacy and independence) as forother voters; and

2. Provide alternative language accessibility when required by § 203 of theVoting Rights Act of 1965 (42 USC § 1973aa-1a).
