§ 24.2-678. Law-enforcement officer to be sent for abstracts not forwarded.

If the State Board has not received the abstracts of votes from any county orcity within seven days after any election, it shall dispatch alaw-enforcement officer to obtain a copy of the abstract from the officialhaving charge thereof. That official shall immediately, on demand of theofficer, make out and deliver to him the copy required, and the officer shalldeliver the abstract to the State Board without delay.
