§ 24.2-953.2. Late filing of required reports.

A. In the case of the late filing of the statement of organization requiredby this chapter for a candidate campaign committee or political committee,there shall be a civil penalty not to exceed $500.

B. In the case of a late filing of a required report, the candidate campaigncommittee or political committee shall be assessed a civil penalty not toexceed $500. In the case of a second or any subsequent such violationpertaining to one election cycle, the candidate campaign committee orpolitical committee shall be assessed a civil penalty of $1,000 for each suchlate filing.
