§ 25.1-304. Authority to take possession and title to property.

In addition to any authority it has to exercise the power of eminent domainprior to entering upon property being condemned, an authorized condemnor isauthorized to acquire title to and to enter upon and take possession of suchproperty for the purposes for which such condemnor is authorized to condemnsuch property, and proceed with the construction of improvements upon suchproperty, in accordance with the procedures set forth in this chapter.
