§ 28.2-513. Prima facie evidence of culling violation; defense.

It is unlawful for a person to have any oysters or shells on the cullingboard, deck, washboard, or other receptacle above the hold of the boat or inthe deckhouse of the boat when the boat is not at anchor, is off the publicrocks, or is approaching a buy boat or a landing. The attempt of any personto escape, to throw oysters or shells into the water other than in theordinary process of culling, or to place oysters or shells on the cullingboard or deck from the hold, upon the approach of the officer, shall be primafacie evidence of the violation of the Commission's culling regulations.
