§ 29.1-726. Security interest may be filed within thirty days after purchase.

If application for the recordation of a security interest to be placed upon awatercraft is filed in the principal office of the Department within thirtydays from the date of such applicant's purchase of the watercraft, it shallbe valid to all persons, including the Commonwealth, as if the recordationhad been done on the day the security interest was acquired.
