§ 3.2-1004. When Commissioner may permit taking of threatened or endangeredspecies.

The Commissioner may issue a permit under certain circumstances for thetaking, possessing, buying, selling, transporting, exporting, or shipping ofany threatened or endangered species that appear on the state list ofthreatened or endangered species for scientific, biological, or educationalpurposes or for propagation to ensure their survival, provided that suchaction does not violate federal laws or regulations.
