§ 3.2-206. Certain agencies to prepare plans for implementation of policy.

The Department of Transportation, Department of Conservation and Recreation,State Corporation Commission, and Department of Environmental Quality shalleach prepare a plan for the implementation of the policies set forth in thischapter. The plan shall contain an analysis of the impact that the agency'sregulations and projects have on the conversion of farm and forest lands. Theplan shall be updated and submitted to the Secretary of Agriculture andForestry and the Secretary of Natural Resources annually. The Secretary ofAgriculture and Forestry shall review the plan in consultation with theCommissioner and the State Forester, and may recommend improvements to theplan. The Secretary of Agriculture and Forestry shall submit a written reportby December 1 of each year to the chairmen of the House Committee onAgriculture, Chesapeake and Natural Resources and the Senate Committee onAgriculture, Conservation and Natural Resources on the impacts of stateagency actions on the conversion of farm and forest lands.
