§ 3.2-503. Duties of Extension Division of Virginia Polytechnic Institute andState University.

A. Personnel of the Extension Division of Virginia Polytechnic Institute andState University shall inform local governing bodies of the Commonwealthwhenever agricultural conditions are present in such localities that wouldwarrant the declaration of a disaster pursuant to Section 301 of Public Law93-288, 42 U.S.C. § 5141.

B. Personnel of the Extension Division of Virginia Polytechnic Institute andState University shall provide farmers and local governing bodies with suchassistance and information as is available concerning federal and statedisaster relief programs.
