3.2-5215 - Detention of adulterated, misbranded products.

§ 3.2-5215. Detention of adulterated, misbranded products.

Whenever any product subject to this article is found by the Commissionerupon any premises where it is held and there is reason to believe that theproduct is adulterated or misbranded in violation of the regulations adoptedby the Board pursuant to this article, or that such product has been or isintended to be distributed in violation of regulations, the product may bedetained for a period not to exceed 20 days, pending action under § 3.2-5216of this article, and shall not be moved by any person from the place at whichit is located when detained, until released by the Commissioner.
