§ 3.2-5228. Test of measurers; inspection of machines and scales; right ofentry.

The Commissioner shall inspect or cause to be inspected at least once eachyear every Babcock or other centrifugal machine or cream test or butterfattest scales used in the Commonwealth by an inspector of milk or cream or byany person in any milk inspection laboratory for purposes of inspection, orby any person in any milk depot, ice cream factory, confectionery, creamery,cheese factory, condensed milk factory, or other place for determining thecomposition or value of milk or cream as a basis for payment in buying orselling. The Commissioner is further authorized to enter upon any premises inthe Commonwealth where any centrifugal machine or cream test and butterfattest scales are used to inspect the devices and to ascertain if theprovisions of law are complied with.
