§ 3.2-5616. Fees of sealers.

No fee shall be charged by the sealer of weights and measures, or by thecounty or city, for inspecting, testing, or sealing of weights or measures,except that the governing body of a city or county employing a sealer may, byordinance, prescribe a schedule of fees for such services as are rendered byagreement with or at the request of the person or party served. Such feesshall be used only to defray the cost of such services.
