§ 3.2-710. Penalties.

A. Any person who violates any of the provisions of this article, or whoalters, forges, or counterfeits, or uses without authority any certificate orpermit or other document provided for in this article or in the regulationsof the Board adopted hereunder is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.

B. Any person who has knowingly moved any regulated article into theCommonwealth from any quarantined area of any other state, which regulatedarticle has not been treated or handled under provisions of the quarantineand regulations in effect at the point of origin, is guilty of a Class 1misdemeanor.
