§ 30-315. (Expires July 1, 2012; For contingent expiration date - SeeEditor's note) Commission on Civics Education Fund established.

There is hereby created in the state treasury a special nonreverting fund tobe known as the Commission on Civics Education Fund, hereinafter referred toas the "Fund." The Fund shall be established on the books of theComptroller and shall consist of gifts, grants, donations, bequests, or otherfunds from any source as may be received by the Commission for its work.Moneys shall be paid into the state treasury and credited to the Fund.Interest earned on moneys in the Fund shall remain in the Fund and becredited to it. Any moneys remaining in the Fund, including interest thereon,at the end of each fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund but shallremain in the Fund. Moneys in the Fund shall be used solely for the purposeof enabling the Commission to perform its duties. Expenditures anddisbursements from the Fund shall be made by the State Treasurer on warrantsissued by the Comptroller upon written request of the chairman of theCommission.
