§ 32.1-16. State Department of Health.

There shall be a State Department of Health in the executive departmentresponsible to the Secretary of Health and Human Resources. The Departmentshall be under the supervision and management of the State HealthCommissioner. The Commissioner shall carry out his management and supervisoryresponsibilities in accordance with the policies, rules and regulations ofthe Board.
