§ 32.1-323. Department of Medical Assistance Services.

There is hereby established a Department of Medical Assistance Services,hereinafter referred to in this chapter as the Department. The Departmentshall be under the direction of the Secretary of Human Resources and aDirector of Medical Assistance Services who shall be appointed by theGovernor, subject to confirmation by the General Assembly.
