§ 32.1-125. Establishment or operation of hospitals and nursing homesprohibited without license or certification; licenses not transferable.
A. No person shall own, establish, conduct, maintain, manage or operate inthis Commonwealth any hospital or nursing home unless such hospital ornursing home is licensed or certified as provided in this article.
B. No license issued hereunder shall be assignable or transferable.
