§ 32.1-190. Powers of commission; oath and terms of members; vacancies.

Each mosquito control commission district shall be a body politic andcorporate and shall have all the powers necessary to carry into effect all ofthe provisions of this article. Each member of any such commission shall takeand subscribe to the oath prescribed by § 49-1. The term of each commissionmember other than the Commissioner or his designee shall be four years andthereafter until his successor has been duly appointed and qualified. Avacancy other than by expiration of term shall be filled for the unexpiredterm by the authority originally making the appointment.
