§ 32.1-266. Extending time for filing death certificates and obtainingout-of-state transit permits.

The Board may provide by regulation for the extension, upon conditionsdesigned to assure compliance with the purposes of this chapter, of theperiods prescribed in §§ 32.1-263, 32.1-264 and 32.1-265 for the filing ofdeath certificates, fetal death reports and medical certifications of causeof death and for the obtaining of out-of-state transit permits in cases inwhich compliance with the applicable prescribed period would result in unduehardship.
