§ 33.1-174. Approval or disapproval of such construction.

When such road or highway shall have been completed, the city or town shallnotify the Commissioner, who shall promptly cause an inspection thereof to bemade by the Department of Transportation. If the Department approves thesame, the Commissioner shall notify the city or town, in writing, of suchfact. If the Department disapproves the same, it shall notify the city ortown, specifying the Department's objections and recommendations forremedying or removing them, and the city or town shall promptly carry outsuch recommendations.
