§ 33.1-189.1. Specifications in purchasing lubricating motor oil.

A. Standard specifications adopted for lubricating motor oil for competitivebidding contracts to be let by the Department of Transportation shall beprescribed so as to include re-refined or recycled lubricating motor oil.Specifications adopted for circumstances or equipment which requirespecialized treatment or products may be excluded.

B. The Department shall compile and publish a list of business entities whichcommercially distribute re-refined or recycled lubricating motor oil whichcomplies with the standard specifications adopted by the Department pursuantto the provisions of this section. The Department shall make the listavailable to local governing bodies upon request.
