§ 33.1-218. Rules and regulations for use of recreational waysides.

The Commonwealth Transportation Board is authorized and empowered toestablish rules and regulations for the use of recreational waysidesincluding rules and regulations relating to (a) the time, place and manner ofparking of vehicles, (b) activities which may be conducted within suchwaysides, (c) solicitation and selling within the waysides, (d) such othermatters as may be necessary or expedient in the interest of the motoringpublic.

The rules and regulations when adopted by the Commonwealth TransportationBoard shall be posted in a conspicuous place at each wayside, along with suchother signs as the Commonwealth Transportation Commissioner deems necessaryto advise the public.

Any person violating any rule and regulation adopted under this section shallbe guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction be fined not less than $5 normore than $100 for each offense.
