§ 33.1-223.2:2. Commissioner to provide written notice of decision to disposeof real property.

Whenever the Commonwealth Transportation Board or the Department decides tosell or otherwise dispose of any surplus real property, the CommonwealthTransportation Commissioner shall provide written notice of such decision tothe mayor or chairman of the governing body of the locality in which theproperty or any portion thereof is located. Any failure to provide or receivesuch notice shall not create a cloud on the title to the property.
