§ 33.1-223.2:6. Funding and undertaking of pedestrian and/or bicycle projectsapart from highway projects not prohibited.

Nothing contained in this chapter and no regulation promulgated by theCommonwealth Transportation Commissioner or the Commonwealth TransportationBoard shall be construed to prohibit or limit the ability of the CommonwealthTransportation Board or the Department to fund and undertake pedestrianand/or bicycle projects except in conjunction with highway projects.
