§ 33.1-271. Purchase of projects.

The Board may acquire by purchase, whenever it shall deem such purchaseexpedient, any of the projects set forth in subdivision (2) of § 33.1-268,upon such terms and at such prices as may be reasonable and can be agreedupon between the Board and the owner thereof, title thereto to be taken inthe name of the Commonwealth. The Board shall issue revenue bonds of theCommonwealth, as hereinafter provided, to pay the cost of such acquisition.
