§ 33.1-308. Bonds eligible for investment.

Bonds issued by the Board under the provisions of this article are herebymade securities in which all public officers and public bodies of theCommonwealth and its political subdivisions, all insurance companies, trustcompanies, banking associations, investment companies, executors, advisers,trustees and other fiduciaries, and all other persons whatsoever who are nowor may hereafter be authorized to invest in bonds or other obligations of asimilar nature may properly and legally invest funds, including capital intheir control or belonging to them. Such bonds are hereby made securitieswhich may properly and legally be deposited with and received by any state ormunicipal officer or any agency or political subdivision of the Commonwealthfor any purpose for which the deposit of bonds or other obligations of theCommonwealth is now or may hereafter be authorized by law.
