§ 33.1-311. Transfer to Commonwealth.

When all bonds issued under the provisions of this article in connection withany turnpike project and the interest thereon shall have been paid or asufficient amount for the payment of all such bonds and the interest thereonto the maturity thereof shall have been set aside in trust for the benefit ofthe bondholders, such project shall become part of one of the systems ofstate highways if not theretofore made a part of one of the systems of statehighways under the provisions of § 33.1-299 of this article and shallthereafter be maintained by the Board free of tolls.
