§ 33.1-353. Territory to which article applies.

The territory under the jurisdiction of the Commonwealth TransportationCommissioner for the purposes of this article shall include all of theCommonwealth, exclusive of that portion thereof which lies within thecorporate limits of municipalities except the jurisdiction of theCommonwealth Transportation Commissioner shall apply to all the territorywithin municipalities on which signs, advertisements, or advertisingstructures are visible from the main traveled way of any interstate highway,federal-aid primary highway as that system existed on June 1, 1991, ornational highway system highway.
