§ 35.1-11. Regulations generally.

The Board shall make, adopt, promulgate, and enforce regulations necessary tocarry out the provisions of this title and to protect the public health andsafety. In promulgating regulations, the Board shall consider the acceptedstandards of health including the use of precautions to prevent thetransmission of communicable diseases, hygiene, sanitation, safety, andphysical plant management.
