§ 36-55.29. Executive director.

(a) The commissioners shall employ an executive director who shall also bethe secretary and who shall administer, manage and direct the affairs andbusiness of the HDA, subject to the policies, control and direction of thecommissioners. The commissioners may employ technical experts and such otherofficers, agents and employees, permanent and temporary, as it may require,and shall determine their qualifications, duties and compensation. Thecommissioners may delegate to one or more of its agents or employees suchadministrative duties as it may deem proper.

(b) The secretary shall keep a record of the proceedings of the HDA and shallbe custodian of all books, documents and papers filed with the HDA and of itsminute book and seal. He shall have authority to cause to be made copies ofall minutes and other records and documents of the HDA and to givecertificates under the seal of the HDA to the effect that such copies aretrue copies and all persons dealing with the HDA may rely upon suchcertificates.
