§ 36-132. Creation of Department; appointment of Director.

There is hereby created in the executive department the Department of Housingand Community Development. The Department shall be headed by a Director whoshall be appointed by the Governor, subject to confirmation by the GeneralAssembly, to serve at the pleasure of the Governor for a term coincident withhis own.
