§ 37.2-610. Transfer of facilities and assets.

The governing body of the city or county that established the authority isauthorized to transfer to the authority the operation and maintenance ofsuitable facilities that are now or may be hereafter owned by the city orcounty on the terms and conditions that it may prescribe; but this sectionshall not be construed as authorizing the authority to maintain and operatesuch facilities until the operation of them has been transferred by thegoverning body of the city or county that established it.
