§ 37.2-701. Examination of properties; certain property not to be declaredsurplus.

The Commissioner is hereby authorized to examine the condition of the statefacilities operated by the Department based upon the practices and methodsemployed by the Department in the care and treatment of persons admitted toany state facility. No property that is being used for the care and treatmentof consumers or that is reasonably related to the present or future needs ofthe Department for care and treatment of consumers shall be declared surplus.
