§ 38.2-2019. Cooperation among rate service organizations, or among rateservice organizations and insurers, authorized; review by Commission.

Cooperation among rate service organizations or among rate serviceorganizations and insurers in rate making or in other matters within thescope of this chapter is authorized if the filings resulting from thecooperation are subject to all the provisions of this chapter that areapplicable to filings generally. The Commission may review cooperativeactivities and practices. If, after providing notice and opportunity to beheard, it finds that any activity or practice is unfair, unreasonable orotherwise inconsistent with this chapter, it shall issue an order (i)specifying in what respects the activity or practice is unfair, unreasonableor otherwise inconsistent with this chapter, and (ii) requiring thediscontinuance of the activity or practice.
