§ 38.2-2214. Statement defining rate classifications to be provided byinsurer to insured.

Any insurer issuing motor vehicle insurance policies as defined in §38.2-2212, including those policies assigned to any insurer by the VirginiaAutomobile Insurance Plan, shall provide the named insured with a statementdefining his rate classifications. This statement shall be provided at thetime of issuance or at the time of renewal if there has been a change in thenamed insured's rate classification. The statement shall not be considered apart of the policy and shall not be deemed a warranty or representation bythe insurer to the insured.

The Commission shall approve the form of the statement prior to its use.
