§ 38.2-2609. Qualifications of agents.

No person shall sell, solicit, or negotiate home protection contracts in thisCommonwealth unless (i) he has a valid license granting the authority totransact such insurance in this Commonwealth, (ii) he has a valid license tosell real estate in this Commonwealth, issued pursuant to Chapter 21 (§54.1-2100 et seq.) of Title 54.1, or (iii) he is the builder of the home orone of his authorized agents.
