§ 38.2-3410. Construction of policy generally; words "physician" and"doctor" to include dentist.

Each accident and sickness insurance policy or subscription contract shall beconstrued according to the entirety of its terms and conditions as set forthin the policy and as amplified, extended or modified by any rider,endorsement, or application attached to and made a part of the policy.However, the word "physician" or "doctor" when used in any accident orsickness insurance policy, or subscription contract shall be construed toinclude a dentist performing covered services within the scope of hisprofessional license.
