§ 38.2-3811. Benefits not subject to process.

Any money, other benefit, charity, relief or aid to be paid, provided orrendered by any company shall not be liable to attachment, garnishment orother process, or be seized, taken, appropriated or applied by any legal orequitable process or operation of law to pay any debt or liability of amember, his beneficiary, or any other person who may have a right thereunder,either before or after payment.
