§ 38.2-4003. Licensing of additional societies prohibited.

Any burial society that was not licensed and operating as a burial society inthis Commonwealth on July 1, 1952, shall not be issued a license as a burialsociety in this Commonwealth. On or after July 1, 1952, only a renewal of alicense held by a society for the preceding year will be issued.
