§ 38.2-4309. Investments.

A health maintenance organization may invest in any Category 1 investment asdefined in Chapter 14 of this title or any other investment the Commissionmay permit pursuant to provisions in Chapter 14 (§ 38.2-1400 et seq.) of thistitle. For investments made prior to July 1, 1998, by a health maintenanceorganization which is licensed on and after June 30, 1998, July 1, 1998 maybe deemed the date of investment.
