§ 38.2-4912. Special provisions for existing providers; rights of residentswith certain existing providers.

A. Providers existing prior to July 1, 1986, shall comply with its provisionswithin six months of July 1, 1986. However, the Commission may extend theperiod within which an existing facility shall comply with this chapter foran additional six months with good cause shown.

B. Continuing care contracts entered into prior to the effective date of thischapter or prior to registration of the provider shall be valid and bindingupon both parties in accordance with their terms.
